What happens to sales figures?

Sales are optional. Here is how Taldi currently stores and uses them, including the limits of that protection.

How sales are stored

When you enter sales, Taldi keeps a device copy for the dashboard and offline use. For synced sales, the authenticated Taldi gateway encrypts the figures before saving them to the database. The encryption key is kept outside that database. Opening the sales table shows encrypted text and limited metadata, rather than daily totals or targets. We migrated the older saved sales rows and cleared the prior readable table copies and sales change receipts on September 28, 2026.

Why the app uses the figures

The dashboard calculates pace and sales per labor hour without sending those calculations to an AI model. If you ask Taldi AI a typed sales question, it uses a limited sales context without your stored name, store name or ID, earlier chat history, or unrelated workspace records. The provider may still receive the figures needed to answer and anything you include in your message. Live voice and phone help process what you say aloud; phone sales changes require review before they are saved.

What this does and does not cover

The gateway can decrypt sales to show your dashboard and answer a sales request. Trusted operators with access to the gateway key may also decrypt them. This is not end-to-end encryption or a promise that Taldi cannot see your figures. Sales drafts and offline copies on your device may be readable to someone with access to that device or its unlocked app storage. Older database backups may retain the previous readable copies until the provider's backup retention period ends. AI and phone providers process the content needed for a request you choose to make; see the privacy policy.
